Your Shopify orders in Click & Drop, every one accounted for
AK Click and Drop Sync sends each paid Shopify order to your own Royal Mail Click & Drop account, and writes the tracking number back to Shopify when you print the label. Every order it picks up is listed with its state, and when Royal Mail refuses one you see Royal Mail's own reason, not a silence.
What it does
- Sends orders as they're paid (or when you tag them, or when you press Send), with an optional short wait for upsells and address fixes.
- Lists every order with its state: waiting, in Click & Drop, fulfilled, skipped by a rule you named, or refused with Royal Mail's reason.
- Checks every morning that each paid, unshipped order is in Click & Drop, and sends any that aren't.
- Marks the order fulfilled in Shopify with Royal Mail's tracking number, so your customer gets Shopify's shipping email.
- Chooses services and package formats by destination, weight, value, tag or the checkout's shipping option.
- Fills customs from the fields you choose (product type, HS code, country of origin, or metafields) and leaves your Click & Drop product catalogue alone.
- Removes an unprinted order from Click & Drop when it's cancelled in Shopify.
- On an Online Business Account: prints labels, manifests and return labels from Shopify.
What it keeps
Order numbers, Click & Drop order numbers, states and tracking numbers. Your customers' names, addresses, emails and phone numbers go straight to Royal Mail under your account and are not stored by the app. The privacy policy has the detail.
Getting started
Install it from the Shopify App Store, paste your Click & Drop API key (Click & Drop: Settings, Integrations, Click & Drop API), and new paid orders go across. You can try it with sample orders first.
